  Bennett Ridge campground BBQs are in disrepair and unusable (broken or missing hotplates, no place to hang a billy can). Come on NPWS, lift your game here! Site needs better signposting; BYO firewood (or gas stove) and water. Toilet was a bit smelly at times. Pleasant enough site otherwise, with kangaroos about. Keep your food well covered or cockatoos and noisy miners will get at it! If you want to swim, don't bother heading to river via Bennetts Ridge Trail - the walk itself is fine, but river access is a small muddy area that was being monopolised apparently by a jetski company when I was there. Swim at Jellybean pool instead; signpost for this is missing too, but it's just 50m or so in from main entrance. Bring your own bushwalking maps. The so-called Nation Parks Tourist Centre was locked up and unattended when I arrived, so no info sheets to be had. The web site should at least have had downloadable maps of the area. NPWS applies parking charge on top of campsite fee. Should really be bundled in with the campsite fee when booking.
